In a dynamic market like the Middle East, the absence of a dedicated platform for Arabic music enthusiasts and artists left a significant void. Existing platforms lacked localized content and engagement opportunities tailored to this demographic, hindering the growth and exposure of Arabic music on a global scale.
Leveraging product design and development techniques, we crafted a platform that not only showcases the rich tapestry of Arabic music but also provides a hub with integrated features like music charts, news, video, opinion, reviews, events and styles related to the music industry.

We conducted a UX audit of the global Billboard.com website and analyzed global benchmarks. Also facilitated workshops with the BB Arabia editorial team to identify the information architecture and content pillars/assets required for the launch. From a service design perspective, we mapped out the roles and responsibilities in the workflow to digitize, optimize, and implement a content management platform (CMS) tailored to the BB Arabia team's needs.

Armed with this knowledge, we embarked on the design and development process, ensuring every aspect of the website resonated with the vibrancy and authenticity of Arabic music. Design system and extensive components framework has been established for a better scale and efficiency.
Through strategic partnerships with industry stakeholders and continuous iteration based on user feedback, Billboard Arabia continues to evolve, fulfilling its mission of elevating Arabic music to new heights of recognition and appreciation worldwide.
